We are now looking for an assistant nurse for our Psychiatric Emergency Clinic at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP). We are located in the St. Göran hospital area and are the only psychiatric emergency clinic in Stockholm County.
Our mission is to provide highly specialized psychiatric care for the entire Stockholm County. We are responsible for acute care 24/7. The clinic receives approximately 21,500 visits per year.
Job Responsibilities
As an assistant nurse at the psychiatric emergency clinic, you work with assessments, patient conversations, contact with relatives, and documentation in TakeCare. The role also involves collaboration with relevant professional groups on the ward, as well as with care partners and other stakeholders such as the police, prison services, and healthcare institutions.
Work in psychiatry is continuously developing, and NSP constantly strives for modern and innovative working methods. Therefore, participation in the wards' quality and development work is a natural part of our employees' roles.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have experience and interest in psychiatric care. You have good knowledge and experience in independently documenting in TakeCare.
To fit the position, you must be flexible with good abilities to collaborate, prioritize, and document. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent position, full-time. Working hours day/evening/weekend according to a rotating schedule. As an assistant nurse at the psychiatric emergency clinic, you work every other weekend and approximately 50% evening shifts.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
